Completed, tested matrixes of processes can be analyzed before or after they occur to search for and define, document and evaluate options for changes to improve future performance.

3. Options for improvement

For each Diamond, the user can enter multiple options for changes that would address the defined problem, opportunity or hazard, and rank the relative improvement anticipated if the change is implemented. Then for potentially viable options, a decision tool for weighting the pros and cons of the option is offered.
